Christmas Eve

Sorry I haven't posted in awhile, the days just seem to fly by for me. Shane has his top two teeth in now and was in a really good mood. Shane opened a Christmas present early before bed yesterday and was more excited about the paper than the gift! Typical baby :). Tonight we went over to my grandparents house for food and to open stockings, it has become a tradition since we moved to TN. Now Shane, Everest, Chloe, and I are at my parents house. Tina seemingly hates anything even though Everest has been extremely resilient and giving Dixon, their other dog, kisses and giving Tina a kiss...She wasn't too pleased. Chloe is loving being at Grandma's house as always and would sometimes rather live over here. I can't wait for Matthew to come home, it has been a long past few years, but soon it feels like we will hopefully be able to begin our lives as a family. Have a wonderful Christmas and hug those that you love tight!

Growing Up

My little guy is growing up so big, crawling everywhere fast as lightning and now pulling up and wanting to fall asleep on his own. Where does the time go? I'm kind of somber tonight and wishing Matthew was home. On a lighter note I have NO SCHOOL until January 17th and I am ELATED. :)

Christmas

It is feeling a lot like Christmas in the Barber house even though Matthew is gone. Finals are totally underway and I am completely done until January 17th after this Thursday. I couldn't be happier. Tonight I addressed all the Christmas cards and they are in the mailbox awaiting everyone's surprise. I have tried really hard not to post the pictures so everyone is surprised for Shane's first Christmas pictures, but it has been hard. Also I am making Holiday Sugar cookies tonight and studying. Hope everyone is having a great december so far! I am so excited because I asked Matthew for an Elliptical for Christmas and he bought me one!!!! And we finally get our new fence on Wednesday for the pets :).

My heart is full tonight of heartache and good memories as my great Uncle Dick died today. He was a loving man, brother, grandfather, father, and husband. You will be in my prayers Uncle Dick, we all love you, and I am glad Shane got to meet you as well as Matthew. I had great memories at your house with Aunt Mindy painting my nails and playing games.

'Tis The Season

Hi Everyone,

Just had a thought tonight before I go to bed. Shane is getting his two top teeth and has his first dental appointment tomorrow. Call me crazy, but with my dental history it's never too early. Just remember in these hectic times like I am trying to not forget the reason for Christmas this holiday season. A woman nearly mowed me down the other day with Shane in the cart to get to some item she saw. Relax, and for me, don't go out! Amazon has become the Barber household's new method of shopping.
